Nursery Rhyme Week: Hickory Dickory Dock, the mouse ran up the clock

Hickory Dickory Dock, The mouse ran up the clock,
The clock struck one, The mouse ran down,
Hickory Dickory Dock.
 The children have been learning the rhyme "Hickory Dickory Dock." We have explored it through a variety of activities, but the children really liked pretending to be the mouse, cutting and tasting cheese.

Joseph cut the cheese "This ones orange"




Harley "Im going to try both together"


"I like the orange one" Florence


Dolton "This cheese tastes like egg"

"This cheese tastes milky" Callum

Ollie pressed the cheese "This cheese is going to be soft, its really lovely" he said after eating it.


Tia "Its orange cheese, I only have the yellow one at home"

Demi-Leigh "I don,t like cheese, but mice do"

"This tastes like garlic" Caleb.






Raisa "yummy"


Poppy "cheese and crackers are what a mouse would eat"
