Learning through play

In pre-school we have lots of play opportunities for the children to engage in, as children learn best through play. Adults in the room play with the children to extend their play and further the opportunities. Playing with your child at home will not only help them to develop and learn, it can be a way to find out what’s going on in children’s lives. Children often replay scenes from their lives, putting their own emotional spin on the day’s events. Joining them gives parents insight into their thoughts and concerns, enabling them to help them find solutions to conflicts.
