Thinking critically.

The pre-school children have been doing lots of critical thinking this week! From maths games where we had to fish for the matching numbers, to creating patterns with the compare bears.

It took lots of hand-eye co-ordination as well as number recognition to play the fishing game with Charlotte, Well done!

Sullivan used his critical thinking skills to build a tower taller than himself! He thought about position, balance, how he could reach the top, and drew a plan of his construction.

Logan and Liam created a lever/catapult. They balanced a larger building block across the top of a smaller one, with a toy person at one end. They then used another block to hit the other end catapulting the toy person into the air!
