Nursery Rhyme Week 'Incy Wincy Spider'

Incy wincy spider climbed up the water spout,
Down came the rain, and washed the spider out,
Out came the sunshine, and dried up all the rain,
So Incy wincy spider climbs up the spout again.

 

Today the children have been making spiders using plastic tubs, straws and black paint! It was very messy.

 

'are we using pipe cleaners for the legs?' Georgina asks. Charlotte tells Georgina we are using straws 'oh that's a good idea. we could have used pipe cleaners too' she says.

 

'This spider isn't coming in my house, me and mummy don't like spiders' Caleb says

 

Dolton pains his spider. Charlotte opens the big googly eyes 'No I want the big eyes' says Dolton. Once Dolton creates his spider he identifies his name and places his spider next to it

 

Tia enjoys paining a spider. Tia correctly identifies that spiders have two eyes then held up two fingers.

 

All the children took part and made some really scary spiders! They will displayed in the corridor soon so keep your eyes out!!
